Pigs are pregnant for about 114 days, easy to remember as 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days. Most sows and gilts farrow between day 111 and day 117. Big litters often come a day or two early.
The calculator counts 114 days from the breeding date. If she was served more than once, use the first service and watch her from day 111.

Questions
How long is a pig pregnant?
About 114 days: 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days. Most sows farrow between 111 and 117 days after breeding.
How can I tell if my sow is pregnant?
She doesn't come back into heat about three weeks after breeding. An ultrasound scan can confirm pregnancy from about 25 to 30 days.
When should I move my sow to the farrowing pen?
About a week before the due date, so she settles in before she starts nesting.
How many piglets will she have?
It varies by breed, age and condition. Gilts usually have smaller litters than older sows. An experienced vet can sometimes estimate litter size by ultrasound.
